Root Does USB otg work on a rooted note?

Ok, so I've rooted my old desire hd to try it out for the hell of it. Didn't think I would, but I absolutely love it and now want to root the note.

Couple things, does USB otg still work? Like, can you still connect sd card readers and USB pen drives? And also, is there any way around to getting banking apps and such that don't like rooted phones to work? Is there a hack?
