Help Does your screen quickly load when hit take it out of standby?

I dropped my phone earlier today, for the first time and i do not know if im imagining it or if this started happening.

The phone seems to take a much longer time to come out of standby now and show the lock screen.

Instead of the lock screen almost instantly just popping up, the screen seems to load up for a second. It starts dim and goes to the lock screen over about 1 second.

Mine does something like that. It means it's been sleeping properly if it takes an extra split second to wake up.

Mine also sometimes does this its sorta annoying

Mine does it on occasion. Usually after I leave it alone for awhile though.

mine does it all the time, and i feel like it only started after i dropped it.

Do your phones usually load instantly?

instantly is really a relative term. One persons instant is another persons lag. I use the home key, and mine wakes up fine for me. Do you have a task killer set up to auto kill tasks, or do you kill tasks right before you put the phone to sleep.
