Root Does Z4Root work on the Thunderbolt?

Can't believe we've made it until after 5pm EST without the question coming up. Anyone load Z4 and root successfully?
 
My friend just told me it dose but he dosent have a thunderbolt so im not sure about that. I want to try it out but im afraid of bricking it.

I strongly recommend not trying it for now....It's a big risk and i doubt it'll work. The phone isn't easily rooted, and if it does, it's just temporary. Once you restart your phone, it'll erase it again...
 
FYI:

I just tried it.... locked the phone up cold. Reboot and I will try again, but I am thinking DENIED.

Nope... kills it dead until reboot... acts like a huge memory leak and the phone is useless until you reboot.

This is the Temp root method, not going to bother with Perm.

So... no root for me to clean up all this bloatware..... YET.

I can atest to the accuracy of this info. Perm root did the samething.
 
I sense irony on the horizon and the Bionic may actually be easier than the TB to root. That is just the way irony works things.
