Doesn't find OTA update

Hi,

Got a brand new DHD, unbranded, 1.32.405.6, when I go to System software updates, it says : "There are no updates available for your phone."

Any ideas?

This is the same question from me......i got my phone and cant update via OTA like you it says that my phone is up to date???please if anyone has the answer post!!!!thanks.
 
Yep, Springy says it like it is. You should be offering up a sacrifice to celebrate the fact that you won't suffer all the irritating problems that we "I Believe In Early Updating" users are undergoing.
 
Thanks, this is actually for my wife's phone.
I got the update around the 27th or so for my phone.
I haven't suffered too much from the bugs. Location/weather sort of broke, but battery life was better.

But yea, it looks like you are unlocked, which means HTC has pulled the update which is a good thing, trust me. The new 1.72 update is rubbish. I got so many bugs on the phone it is untrue and for me it is getting worse.

This is strange as I've read the threads about all the problems with the update etc but I've not had any myself. Phone is great, speedy, smooth, just as it should be. Though it could be I haven't had any SD card problems as a day or so after installing the update Santa brought me a spanking new 32GB card which went straight in. No problems so far.

My phone was also one of the first in the UK but, again, I've not seen any of the problems that the first phones were meant to have (light sensor etc). I guess I must just be lucky .... :cool:

Though with the next update I'll await feedback from this and other forums before I install it! I've done my time in IT installing the latest and greatest alpha/beta SW on computers to take more of a back seat these days and let others be the guinea pigs.

This is what happend to me.....i got my phone 4th January and i checked if there is an update on my phone,and it said that update is available.....i refused to update because im a new android user and i wanted to see how it works before and after update.....after a few days update is not there any more.....i reseted my phone 5 times to see if this is a software problem but nothing......can someone confirm that HTC pulled this update?thanks guys for the help by the way wery much,cheers.
 
zoric, nope I don't know. But it defo looks like they have pulled it.

dvhttn, that was the same with me. The update was fine for a while, and now I have an annoying rebooting problem and also SIM card resetting itself (as I have pin protected my SIM so I notice). I haven't got the SD issue but I am not sure on the SMS as I used Handcent. But there seems to be a memory leak in the Sense software as I have had a couple of times where there is an exception message pops up but I cannot see what is it since the phone resets.

Also HTC Sense keeps syncing more than 1.32 when the website don't even work which is just strange. Been nearly 4 weeks since the update, think they have to get a fix out quick.
