I'm due an upgrade 1st oct with 3 uk and going for the desire phone - my current phone is a cheap replacement for my last phone that had a cup of coffee spilt over it :/ is it worthwhile calling them to see if i can get the upgrade a week early? just too impatient!

Don't know about 3, but vodafone allow you to upgrade 3 months early (you still have to see out your existing contract though + the new one though).... so a week early shouldn't be a problem.
