Doesn't the screen look very blue?

If you compare the whites of the screen while the reviewer is testing the browser, with the white labels next to the adjacent phones and the white security connector on the back of the phone when it is turned over, you can clearly see how blue the screen looks in comparison - especially with the stark white of the connector.

Would you agree that the screen looked very blue until the White Balance on the camera was adjusted (from 4:32 onward) after which the screen looked nice and bright and colourful at the expense of every other colour looking wrong (such as the white of the bezel and skin tones!)?

If you check my own screen comparison shots you can see the screen does indeed have a blue tinge for whites, this is known in relation to AMOLED screens. It's very noticeable when side-by-side Vs phones with more accurate whites when both screens are displaying largely white material, but less noticeable in actual use.

It's really nothing to complain about. This has been here with pass phones. It's nothing new and doesn't mess up the user experience. It may be really noticeable when compared to a phone side by side looking at white backgrounds like the browser or something. But all in all it's a nice looking screen.

I have heard that the Voodoo project will correct the colour temperature of phone displays with blue tints. Does anyone know if this will work on the GS3? If so, that would be great.
