Lucy the former dust mop turned 12 yesterday and she got loaded up with treats! She's a fairly good dog with only a couple of... eccentricities. She's getting really clingy, though, and sleeping a lot. Those are two indications that her departure to Rainbow Bridge may be approaching...

Not to worry, I never tried. But the contests to see who could stay on their feet the longest while sliding across the frozen lakes and rivers was fun.

He didn't need the spider legs. Rottweilers are big babies. My little 15 lb. dog used to chase the neighbors rotty back to her own yard.
