Dolphin Browser

So, as somebody has suggested, I unchecked the Google file synching (to prevent any loss of contact data, although I think that would not happen as the data sits on Goggle servers), took pictures of all 3 home screens and all my apps (hmmm... over 120...), did a factory reset, reactivated the phone with Verizon, installed all my apps except for the Dolphin crap--and I'm back in excellent shape again.

Can somebody suggest a good app that would provide a full program and data backup for the Droid?

I found that using "Astro File Manager" backup feature worked pretty well in restoring my apps (when they were suppose to restore but didn't).

Pinch to zoom is sooooo over-rated. Everyone acts like if it is not in a browser, the browser is crap. I'll take a simple double tap any day over pinch to zoom. It's easier, faster and with the res and screen size of the Droid, one double tap is usually all it takes. Why must everyone compare it to the Fisher Price toy that can't handle browser screen widths? I actually think that pinch to zoom is needed on that inferior screen whereas the Droid doesn't need it.

2,000,000 points to the first browser with adblocking.

looks like firefox mobile (fennec) will score the 2,000,000 points! when it gets out of beta. and when it gets ported to android.
