Root Don't know what to do....

Ive had a droid x since it came and and recently came into a Fascinate....im really familiar with the droid x recovery with flashing this and that blah blah blah

This phone seems way different..I rooted, installed rom manager and tried to get a rom from there...every time it boots up to backup and install the rom and i get this

E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
installation aborted

what am i doing wrong

clockwork recovery has to be pushed with the odin program first...then flashed in rom manager Clockworkmod installation how to for windows / *nix - xda-developers

i would take some time and read over the wealth of information here, xda, etc....the fascinate is a much different beast with mods/recovery than the droid x

You need clockwork read this

Yeah its similar except you.can use older.versions or newer ones unlike with motorola when they update the bootloader you pray for an sbf leak otherwise....men

Also odin in my experience is less needed because its easier to.recover the.fascinate as we (well.those with red recovery) have a true recovery unlike the bootstrap hijack....that used to be kinda iffy if i recall
