Don't understand the complaints about battery cover

One of the most common complaints I see (youtube) and read about is the "Flimsy Battery Cover". Reviewers say it makes the phone feel cheap.

I hope this isn't a useless post but I'd like to offer a counter view.

Considering how thin the battery cover is, I think it's GREAT that it's so flexible.
Flexible things tend NOT to break. Something of the same size & thinness that is rigid could be easily snapped.

So it's actually a smart design on Samsung's part :)

Again, I hope this isn't a waste of space. It just irks me when folks try to pass this off as low quality or cheap, i.e. a way to save a buck.

I have been wondering about that review. As a result of that disastrous upgrade to 2.3.6 I have awful battery life so I bought a charger and extra batteries. I change my battery 2-3 times a day and absolutely love that back cover and how it snaps back into the phone.

Design is real sleek. I like it. you change your battery 3 times a day? my battery last me all day stock 2.3.6. I have heard of the wifi issue but it seems I'm not affected luckily. I am using using juice defender free version on aggressive setting. I highly recommend it.

Yes, I have Juice Defender, and it works well. I also turn off WiFi when I'm not home or at the office. I use my phone a lot for non-phone functions which eat up battery resources. One of my favorite games is a hog. I change my batteries - that way I don't have to hate my phone :-)
