Help donut accelerometer not working

[sharp13]

hello all. i have bought the i7500 last month and i am pleased with its performance overall. i had it recieved with android 1.5 Cupcake on it. I have flashed it and put on android 1.6 i7500XEFJB2 today. It works alright except it doesn't auto-rotate anymore. In 1.5 it worked perfectly. I have unchecked the auto-rotate box in settings and re-checked it and still the same problem. Help please.
