Root Double messages

pretty sure it has nothing to do with your phone and can't be fixed. sorry

well, either its a server problem or you installed multiple messaging programs... one can obviously be fixed, but as superr said the other cant

yea normally you dont think about it unless you actually do it. i use cm so i have to have gosms for mms functionality. untill i disabled messaging it would double up everything

and hey i wanna know if this will work

su
mount -o remount,rw /system
dd if="/system/app/messagingapp.apk" of="/system/app/messagingapp2.apk"
dd if="/system/app/messagingapp.apk" of="/system/app/messagingapp3.apk"
dd if="/system/app/messagingapp.apk" of="/system/app/messagingapp4.apk"
dd if="/system/app/messagingapp.apk" of="/system/app/messagingapp5.apk"
dd if="/system/app/messagingapp.apk" of="/system/app/messagingapp6.apk"

commands may not be exact, messaging app is obviously not the right name and the remount,rw might be a little off but if the command is adjusted to work properly making 6 copies of the program and possibly adjusting their permissions to launch right, if that will create 6 notifiations for every one message lol

it serves no good purpose, but im curious, and enough of an ass to do it to someone just to screw with them lol
