Its been going on for awhile since I have been rooted and have had custom roms but I'm getting kid of tired of it. I have had the superclean rom and now have blackhole and both get double sms notification sounds. I HAVE NO OTHER SMS APP INSTALLED....No chomp or handcent installed. Any ideas?

look in system/app...you probably have more than one messaging.apk....im assuming you dont wipe data between roms
I have mms.apk but no messaging.apk...is that the problem? Also I did wipe data between my last rom install

i forget which mms is aosp and which is samsung.....usually the double sms issues is because of 2 mms in system...check data/app too just in case
Checked there too but don't see anything double...sure it's something I have done but can't find it. Will look later when I have more time.
