Double SMS Notification

I'm sure this is an easy fix, but I can't seem to figure it out. I had Handcent installed on my captivate, however decided to stick with the installed messaging software. After uninstalling, I am now receiving two SMS notifications when I receive a text. One a white envelope, another a green bubble with "SMS" written in it. I can't find a place where two are coming from...any ideas? Thanks!

It seems like hancent might not be uninstalled. You may want to double check that. Generally, if you open up whichever program that you dont want to receive notifications from, you can hit settings>notifications> uncheck. So if you get two notifications, drag down the top of the screen and select the one you dont want to receive anymore, and go through those steps.
