Root Downgrading 2.2.1 TO 2.2 DHD ?

Hi, Was about to root my DHD but updated. Visionary+ R14 is only available at the moment and is only compatible with 2.2. Till R15 comes out I can't root it so I want to downgrade it. Has anyone tried doing this or is it even possible? Cheers
