Download file from Gmail to SD card???

I have a MP3 file I want to download from my Gmail account to my SD card, for the life of me I cannot get it to download, it shows preview but no option to download and save, am I missing something here ???

In order to download attachments, as opposed to viewing them, you have to use the web interface for GMail.

Thanks, wow I did not know that, I thought I was able to download something before from one of the Gmail icons, umm interesting, well I logged in online and was able to download it, thanks, seems a lot of work to download something but it is what it is

yeah, it's less than ideal but it works. If you are doing this a lot, check out Dropbox. You put the files in your dropbox folder on your computer and you can get to it from the Dropbox app on the Hero.
