Download limit on YouTube Premium

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this message but I am having trouble finding the answer to the following questions when I search on YouTube's page.

If you have a subscription to YouTube Premium:

1. How many videos are you permitted to download to your Android phone?

2. After downloading videos to the Android, are you allowed to copy the downloaded videos to your laptop?

3. I think downloading YouTube videos is only available on mobile devices, but I may be wrong. Is it possible
to download YouTube videos to your laptop?

If you haven’t uploaded the video yourself, you can’t save it to a computer. You can download videos from the YouTube app to your mobile device only.
3. yes it is only available on mobile devices.

Hi,

Youtube Premium doesn't have these limits. The only limit I know that it have is the devices number per account. Like, you are downloading videos and music on your phone with a phone and then you start using another phone, that will count as a new device and it will be added yo your devices list. Different ROMs are included too.

You can reach 10 devices signed to your account before Youtube reseting it againg. I have reached that limit once but I contacted Google Support and they reseted for me.

Now, for your questions:

1. There are no limits in videos and music downloading on Youtube Premium. The only limit you have is your phone storage capability.

2. No, you can't do that because the Youtube app use a file format that is not playable by PC or even Android.

3. No, the download function is only available for mobile devices. That is sad, because it would be very useful, I think. Let's hope they add that.

...

2. After downloading videos to the Android, are you allowed to copy the downloaded videos to your laptop?

...
Keep in mind that there is some content on Youtube where the person or organization posting it do not want their videos to have full, unfettered, non-restricted access. It's proprietary so DRM is involved to enforce the licensing restrictions.
Being free to view is one thing, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's also free to also reuse/alter someone else's work.
