Help Download mode

Need some helping getting into download mode. When I first bought my phone I could boot into recovery and download both with the volume buttons. Since I have installed cm7 I cant do anything regarding recovery and Download. The Samsung drivers will install on my computer but not properly. it will still tell me there are no drivers found for this device. I need to get into Download mode to restore my phone back to stock so I can Sell it. I have tried installing the 3 button fix with no luck. I have also tried adb commands with no luck as well because the drivers on the phone wont install, and Tried a usb jig. as well.

take out battery put battery back in hold down both up and down volume buttons and plug usb cord in and it should go into download mode.

i'm having the same issue. i can't get into download mode no matter what i do. take out batter put back in volume buttons then plug into usb goes straight to charging. tried both volum buttons then power, nothing. tried a jig, nothing.
