Trying to help my friend out and getting nowhere unfortunately. I've rooted his Optimus M and cleared out his dalvik cache but anytime I try to download anything for him from a website such as 4shared I get an error in downloading regardless if he uses the stock browser, skyfire, or opera mini. It just gives an error before anything downloads.
Help please I want to install a ROM for him so he can overclock his phone, but if I can't download, I can't do anything.
Also his SD card does act a little funny sometimes and doesn't allow to paste anything in the root of the card, only in sub-folders, nor does it allow you to create a new folder. Could these problems be connected?
