Help Downloaded Handcent for the sms capability - but...

I cant seem to insert a video larger than about 600k. Ive set the phone to the lowest resolution yet I can only insert about a 7 second video at best.. Any ideas? Its a Samsung Captivate...

there is an option to allow larger videos. goto settings, send message settings, and there is a message size limit you can take upto 1.2 m i think

Right - tried that. no luck. I am using Handcent. Its an odd thing. I just cannot send videoes over about 600k - no matter what!

That's a limit set by your wireless provider. Odds are if you were able to send it, the recipient wouldn't receive it due to the same restrictions set by their provider. Best bet is to send by email or share via dropbox.

People seem to forget what the first "S" in "SMS" stands for.

Use email for what it was intended for, and stop trying to use a pen knife to hammer a railroad spike.
