Help Downloading an install Apps from Google Market

CleTjB

Newbie
I am able to download "Zedge" but when it goes to install I get "Insufficient storage available". I tried another app and it installed properly. I have a clean 16gb Micro SD and nothing on the internal 8 gig which is clean, what could be cauing this, I had downloaded things last week with no issues.

I have S-Off and 2.3.4 rooted was working great end of last week,

I do have "Lookout" installed, but it is still giving the error, even with it disabled?

Is there a CACHE I need to clean?

How much space do you have left in the app storage partition?

Application data storage tells me:
Total space 149MB
Availble 125MB

Phone memory
Total space 748MB
Available 591MB

Internal Storage
Total space 6.59GB
Available 6.59GB

SD Card
Total space 14.81
Available 10.22GB

Looks like you are running out a application data storage, which could be problem. See if you can get ng cache cleaner from the play store to install. It will clean out that space if you run it.

If you can't get it to install, go into your application menu and sort all your apps by size and clear the data and cache for the first five or six apps on that list.

Lookout has a security feature that essentially Wrtie protects the phone settings, I had this invoked by accident "File System Monitoring" which I think was my problem.

I use "Android Assistant" for all my cache cleaning routines, which works for me, but if there is a better CACHE Cleaner let me know..

I also have "AppMonster"..

I personally used "ng cache cleaner" when I used the incredible as my daily phone.
