Root Downloading Apps w/ CM7

I just bought a VMoto Triumph last night after coming across this forum and seeing that you can mod them to run gingerbread and beyond... I successfully installed CM7 reloaded but the thing I cannot figure out is how to download apps now that I don't have Android Market. I signed up for a Google Play account but it doesn't not recognize my phone as a valid device.

I'm sorry if that is a dumb question but I would appreciate all the help I can get. Loving the CM7 mod, thanks!

You have to download gapps for your rom, reboot into recovery and flash the zip, boot back up and follow the steps to get everything in order. So go back to whyzors thread and download the gapps zip from there.
