Downloading from market

For some reason lately when i try and download apps from the market it just has a bar saying starting download but it never starts after so many hours.

Normally in the notification bar it gives you the status of the download but not atm.

What seems to be the problem ?

not sure I have a similar problem whereby the download starts and I get the status bar, however when it completes the download vanishes and the app doesn't install
I've cleared out the cache on the Market app and restarted the phone but this only fixes the problem temporarily

I solved the problem you would need to clean up some apps and try and make sure that talk app works and untill that works then this problem will stay.

Seems similar to the stuck downloads I've been having... When you say "clean up some apps", do you mean delete them?

Also, my Wildfire S came with a bunch of apps I can't seem to be able to uninstall... I think they're bloatware. Is "Rooting" the only way to get rid of these?

Yeah, rooting is the only way to get rid of them.

As far as I'm aware, there is no easy way of rooting the phone yet, but I'll have a proper look about later.
