Help Downloading Pics From Browser

Boy does this make me feel like a noob.

I need to download pics to use for my contacts who are not on Facebook. Is there a way to do this from the browser? Every other phone I've had has been able to do this but I can't seem to figure it out!

Are you long pressing the image until the menu pops up ?
Select save image if not

The only way it works for me is if I put the direct url for the image into the browser. From there if I do a long click on the pic, it will let me save. How can I get to that point or download the pic if I'm looking at an html page that includes text and the image? Is there a way to at least find the url or download it directly at that point? Hope I'm making sense lol.
