Help downloading pictures from evo to pc

When I try to download pictures from my EVO to my pc at work it dose not recognize the hardware

Did you change the USB connection type on your phone from Charge only to Disk Drive?

No. I was used to my epic I'll try it as soon as I can find my usb cord that is probably buried in my 16 year old son's room.
