Help Downloading so many files from nexus 5

I have 16GB of videos in my phone. I'm using Nexus 5. How can I download all these files to my laptop?

Connect to the laptop with USB cable, navigate to the desired folder in Explorer, and drag-and-drop files to your chosen location.

USB connection doesn't mount the storage.

Is there an option in your notification drawer when you plug the phone in?

It worked. I install mtpfs in my Ubuntu desktop and it connected. I was able to copy all 15GBs of videos to laptop. Thanks for helping me.
