Downside to purchasing through Wirefly?

Well if sprint let's you out of the etf, you can definitely sell the evo for more than 239, which is what you would have to make up. Probably 300 if you wanted to, if not more. The phone is in such high demand now.
 
If Sprint lets you off for free, then have your employer pay for the wirefly.. Then sell your EVO and you'll have made money instead of losing it..
 
Damn why would people shop at Wirefly if they knew this policy beforehand? That seems like highway robbery to me.

That would be good if Sprint doesn't charge the ETF. The place where I may be going does have a local CDMA carrier (I've roamed with my Sprint phone there many times) and it would be really nice to use my EVO on their network, however I'm not sure if that's possible. Of course there wouldn't be any 4G, but I don't have full 4G coverage where I am now.

I know Wirefly needs to protect themselves from people buying phones with heavy discounts only to cancel them a week later and keep the phone, but I just don't see where this $300 fee comes from. I have no problem if I cancel and have to reimburse Sprint/Wirefly for the retail cost of the phone, but I'm looking at $639 ($139 + $200 sprint etf + $300 wirefly etf).

Will i get charged extra if i buy a phone using 1 lines 2 year upgrade, and then transfer it to another line on my same plan?

We can do this type of upgrade for Sprint and Verizon customers, so as long as you are using one of those carriers, it isn't a problem. There is no extra charge for this upgrade.... Hope this answers the question, but let me know if there is anything else that I can do to be of assistance.:)
