Dreaming of my next phone

1.) Brighter screen for better outdoor viewing.

2.) Bigger stock battery so maybe I won"t need to buy a big bulging one.

3.) USB hosting so I can use any USB adapted memory to transfer files such as photos from an SLR.

4.) A nice cute slender figure like the latest Nexus.

The Thunderbolt has a lot, but there is room for improvement.

Posted with my Thunderbolt, while drinking beer at the beach.

Another thing, this is more carrier related.

Tethering should not be an extra cost. It will be necessary to tether modern automotive dash mounted navigation & entertainment systems. This should be figured into account without an extra fee.

Confusing Statement is......Confusing

i agree with the first, but not the second part.
if you have a 2GB data plan, you should be able to use it however you want.
if you have an unlimited data plan, you should be able to use it however you want.
i am rooted, so wireless tether cost is a non-issue for me....but i still dont use it much at all...only when i am traveling and want to tether my touchpad.

Charging for tethering is the carrier provider double dipping IMO. I think they expect a phone to not do as much data processing as a full sized computer thus they don't mind offering data plans when they figure the phone can only pull and process so much data at one time.

As far as a bigger screen, I'm not so sure that I'd want a bigger screen (battery life is bad enough with the TB's current size). I mean the phone isn't meant to replace my big screen TV. I'd rather have a video out that can push HD content. I'd settle for a bluetooth device that connects to my TV via HDMI and sends a signal from my phone.

It would have to be WIFI to HDMI because Bluetooth does not have the bandwidth for HDTV video. Also, your phone would need to be plugged into the charger because it would run your battery down fast.
