hello friends. I have been helped here before. I have a Captivate which I upgraded to Froyo last year,and then I rooted via super one click root. All has been well except it has been getting glitchy. I decided to try and unroot and do the Odin3 one click.
first off I unfroze all bloatware. I then tryed to unroot with the odin super one click I used originally. no luck. My PC would not see my phone. I tried a update version with the same outcome.
so I found the thread on how to used Odin 3 "Here's how you UNROOT your Captivate" same outcome no see my phone.
Ok i figure it is time to get serious and work on drivers. I have tried four different computers with Windows 7 and XP with no luck. I have read a lot of good threads and even downloaded kies with no luck. I have formated my phone and cleared all data. I have tried to get different drivers. everytime I connect my phone to a PC I get "USB device not reconized" bla bla.
I think I am still rooted is the problem. But i dont know how to unroot if I cannot connect to PC. I have had to call ATT to help get my phone back on twice by holding the volume buttons and power button at the same time and then boot up. this sucks.
After updating with all the bricking (I think that is what I have had to do severasl times, since I formatted the phone using the Factroy data reset function. I have tried to connect phone and cannot. Windows says the the device has malufunctioned and cannot connect. I have tried super one click 1.9.5 short fuse hopping I could root again, and then hopefully unroot.
Question how do I get back to Titanium pro to freeze bloatware, because I think I am still rooted? I downloaded Titanium again and my phoine shows it installed but I cannot find in apps.
