Help driver question

my htc one m8 is stuck on htc logo can get into fastboot mode but my phone come up on device manager as portable devices htc mtp device when i go to update driver i cant click on it update is pale in color .im using windows 8 i have disabled driver signature enforcement any help would be great

Any other info? What were you doing prior? Were you flashing a ROM? Cuz could be a bad flash
