I've tried everything to update so I can unlock bootloader. I've tried reinstalling drivers. Went to device manager etc etc no go any help.

It is software for your laptop HTC.com is where you get it or maybe htcdev.com or both I don't remember

Yes and if you have any trouble after that do another un install and reinstall if you go into device manager within windows and see a yellow exclamation mark where you see your htc device

yeah thats what i did last night tried to update in device mang on windows. and its says no drivers found. gonna try to sync htc
