Help Driving me nuts

For some unknown reason.......when I turn on my moto e phone.....first comes up the time, etc. saying to swipe to open.....I swipe I and then all my contacts are displayed....I then have to hit the bottom button to get to my home page (as I call it). What I would prefer, as it was when I first got the phone, is when I turn it on, my home page appears. Any help at all?

Are you on lollipop? If so what's happening is that you're swiping to the side on your lockscreen, which is a shortcut to your phone app. Try swiping straight up on your lockscreen and see what happens

Lol fair enough mate. I can barely remember where my username came from but I use it for everything.
Think it was gonna be my producer name or an album name when I thought I was gonna be big on the techno scene lol
