Droid 2 Root for 3g hotspot???

[vculek]

Just wandering if anyone knew how to get the root, or what I needed to do to get it, for the 3G Hotspot?

Welcome to Android Forums! You don't need root to get the 3g hotspot. However, you'll have to pay a monthly fee for it. If you root your phone, you can use hotspot for no extra charge.

Download this, install it and run it and you'll be rooted. After you install it, just be sure to reboot before you run it and you'll be set. Good luck!

If you decide to go the free tethering route, try to keep your usage down otherwise you'll show up on your carrier's radar...
