Help Droid 3 a Dead Phone

Am I the only one that thinks the Droid 3 is a dead phone? It seems like very few people have it and that it was never really popular as far as roms go. Even the OG Droid community seems bigger and it is over 2 years old!

In all due respect I honestly don't care much about how popular it may or may not be -- it has been the best Android phone I've ever owned. As far as ROM's go, I've always stuck with stocks, so I wouldn't know about that.

Doesn't change the fact it's an awesome phone. The D3 hasn't been advertised much and has been drowned out by the 4G phones.
The phones change so fast, a 2yr contract is unbearable. And I have 1.5 yrs to go!

Good riddens, I just added a second line to buy a GNEX at upgrade price yesterday. I have a D3 for sale if anyone wants one.

Just saw that they are not giving ICS on this phone. I guess it's time to figure out how to root. Phone's been slowing down.
Problem is, my headphone jack is starting to go already. Same crap happened to my OG. Seems Motorola has crappy headphone jacks. And I have over a year contract to go still!

It's a shame VZW and Moto dropped the D3, it is an INCREDIBLE device, i came from a LG Ally, and LG Enlighten. I tasted the 1 ghz processor before on my Toshiba THRiVE (BTW great tablet, recommend it to everyone! Toshiba is building a 4.0 update for it,set to be released in June)
The same thing that is happening to us D3 owners is exactly what LG did.
Originally there wasnt supposed to be a FroYo update, but since the community here and everywhere else attempted AOSP and failed, LG listened and built a Flash-less update. No further updates came after that, the devs were making 2.2 roms left and right! right now my buddy is making BIONIX, and is working to port it from the ally to the razr.
Hope that moto see's that we want 4.0 and they may listen
