Help Droid 3 - email difficulty notifications

SCFESQ

Lurker
Is anyone having difficulty getting email notifications? I have three email accounts set up because I rely heavily on them for work and I never received any notifications. I have the settings for email set to be notified every 15 minutes and I never received anything, unless I go the email itself and sometimes not even then. Verizon tech support is not helpful at all. The "kid" told me that it's too bad, Droid's just are not good for email. But I had the Samsung Charge and it was incredible for emails. The best. Anyone else? Suggestions?

I use K-9 mail on my D3 and I've been getting email notifications. One possibility: Check in Settings>Battery & data manager>Data Saver and make sure that Data Saver is off.

For some reason mine always notifies me twice for yahoo email but only once for gmail.

My guess is that your yahoo is set up in two places. I think there is a yahoo app on the phone. It is probably active in that one as well as gmail, if you set it up there. Turn off notifications in the one you don't want to use.
