Droid 3 low key launch effort is by design

[rushmore]

The reason for the low key effort is high inventory of D2's in VZW inventory. This was confirmed by a regional rep. There are still some areas where VZW stores have not displayed the D3 yet, due to inventory. D3 sales have been better than expected, in spite of the low key launch and hurting the ability to purge D2 stock.

BTW, he has no clue when the Bionic will release and suggests those that think they know are just clueless as he is.
