Help Droid 3 wont turn on! No similarity to equal problems in other threads

Hello, I am from germany so first i want to excuse if my english is not the best :D
I have a droid 3 (not rooted) and since yesterday it wont turn on anymore. First, when it was in use it freezed and i could not turn it off normally so i had to remove the battery. When I wanted to start the droid 3 again it took a long time until something happened and the thing that happened was that there was only a blackscreen with strong backlight wich disappeared after a second and then you could only see weak backlight when you look on the phone in a certain degree. The droid 3 stays in this situation and gets warm after some time. I tried the recovery mode with on-button and x-button but whatever I do there wont appear some screen. Even the motorola-logo which normally appears never appears. I tried the whole things with battery, with battery and connected to a charger and only with a charger but nothing ever happened.
If you guys could help me I would be very pleased!
Thank you :)

If the boot menu does not appear when you hold "X" while powering on (or the recovery menu while holding the "M" key while powering on) - then I think that there is a severe hardware failure that must be repaired. If the phone cannot get into Fastboot mode, there is nothing that you can do with software to repair the problem.

Also, I did want to clarify that the Droid 3 will not fully power on beyond the Motorola logo unless a battery is installed... so do this with a well-charged battery.

Thank you for your help!
What kind of Hardware failure could it be? Have you any idea?
Now i realized that if i connect the phone to a charger the white led does not light up in any way but if it is connected to the pc without an battery in it the white led lights all the time.

If there is nothing i can do to repair the phone, is there a possibilty to get my data from the internal storage back?

I am not sure if it is rooted. A friend of mine had to change some things when th phone was new, in order to make it work in germany (gsm-network)...

But if it is the bad screen, wouldn't it be possiblie to connect the phone with a pc? Because this is actually not the case...

Okay, then i will look for a new baphone to test it
Today i tried to connect the phone to a charger again and it gets unnormally warm and stays like this. Is that another sogn for abad battery?
And by the way is there a possibility to save the data? I would not mind it if the phone get broken if the new battery wont help.
Thank you for your help until now :)

Today the new battery came and i tried to connect the phone to the pc again.
When I connect it normal the windows sounds for device connected comes up but you cant see the device on the pc.
So i tired to connect it with fastboot mode ( power on and volume down??) then windows said: Mot Single ADB Interface installed.
And in RSD-Lite it looks like on the added picture.
Any hope for my device or at least for the data on it? :)

I think lcd is bad
if you have a micro hdmi cable and a digital tv with hdmi input
you can try to use it like that, if it will boot normally

what data are you trying to save?

Photos and videos are on internal card or sd card
if sd card should be able to use another device with sd card slot, or a card reader

if rsd lite sees it you can try flashing xml, but if screen is not working, if it bootloops, you need to wipe data, and that is going to be very hard.

if you are lucky it will boot and pc will see see the phone and it will be in mass storage mode

if you want to wipe data blind

hold X and power for 15 sec
press both volume buttons
press volume down twice
press power
press volume down 7 times
press power
wait 30 secs or more depends on how much user data you have
press power to reboot

if you mess up, pull battery and start over

Nothing worked and I lost hope now...
I am going to search a new phone.
Goodbye Droid 3, goodbye slider keyboard :(
And thank you Motorala that you dont sell the droid 3 or 4 in germany

Thank you for help and efforts themib!!!

i think it's the lcd but it could be the flex cable
you could try booting phone with the keyboard out
if it is the flex cable, you do not want to slide the keyboard when phone is on
may need to try several times
