Reminds me of another want:

Hardware toggle switch for speaker.

My Treo had this and it was great. You could just feel the switch position in a meeting and know you were on mute. You did not have to start the phone and look at the screen to see if you were in mute mode.

And muting the Treo meant the speaker did not work. Not the Android silent mode where media still plays.
