droid battery issues

my droid will randomly turn itself off and sometimes when i turn it on it will have a "?" on the batery indicator. and sometimes when i take it off the charging stand it says the battery is dead and it shuts off, then if i turn it back on it has a full charge.... what are my options?

That is not normal by any means. I would definitely take it back to Verizon and get a new one.

I would call Verizon. The will ship you a new overnight. The store may make you wait if they don't have replacement units. Can take a week in some cases. Plus the call in people are usually easier to deal with. YMMV

yeah but isnt it 50 bucks to replace it? and i have an "invisishield" on my phoen so id have to spend another 30 bucks for one of those...
