Help Droid battery stuck in a loop.

Chrity

Lurker
My droid completely died the other night and when I hooked it up to the charger everything was normal. But when the phone was juiced enough to power on the white led shut off and the phone would charge when it was turned on. The phone been doing this loop for about 2 days now. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi, Chrity, and welcome to the forums.

You're in the right spot.

Can you be a little more specific? I'm leaning 2 different ways as to what is happening, so I want to be sure before I answer.

Thanks! Well the droid is charging right now, but its not charged enough to power on. Once it gets to the point where it has enough power to turn on the led turns off and it takes me to my home screen where i am prompted with "please plug in charger" or whatever it sais. Then the phone dies and turns off and it begins charging again.

Um, that is weird. Are you using a physical charger from the electrical outlet or a usb cable attached to your computer?

I assume the dock is connected to the physical charger, though, right? Try using the USB from a computer to your phone and see what happens. if that doesn't fix it, I'm not sure what could be the problem - Perhaps a listing of the apps you have installed, but at this point it seems like you may need to replace the phone itself.
