Root Droid Bionic Root 5.9.905

Hi I'm hoping someone can help me.

I have updated my rooted Bionic to 5.9.905 after having to do a reset. Prior to this I had been on the phone with Verizon several times because of data connectivity. (4g is inconsistent) Tech support thought the update might help my situation. Well after just a few hours I am finding out that it is not improved and may be a little worse. My daughter's Samsung Stratosphere is having no trouble so I am thinking there is a hardware issue with my Bionic. Or more bugs in the OS. Only way to figure it out is to try another handset.

My question is: Can I root a brand new/refurbished Bionic and use my current nandroid backup?

Thanks in advance

I used P3's Droid Bionic Toolbox to add the 10% battery mod. This seems to be what is keeping me from installing .905. I restored all the bloat. Is there any way I can easily get stock battery back so I can install .905?

Yes. In this thread you can flash the stock modified 5.9.902 it will restore your bionic back to stock, keep your data, but kill your root. when you are do updating run motofail to reroot.
