Is there any possibility that the HD is the Dinara? As I said earlier, the fact that it's been seen doesn't mean it's going to come out at any point in the near future (especially in Moto's case).

According to Yoda, no. It's not the Dinara. He seems to be pretty legit these days.
After the pics went live though, we reached out to our sources to see what we could dig up, since there were some questions as to whether or not this was the rumored Motorola Dinara. Well first off, we have been told that this phone is not the Dinara, but is instead the Motorola Spyder (codename of course). It is more of a brother to the Photon 4G than anything, has a

It's CK brah. You can trust him.
I've been trying to find the source, I remember reading it somewhere... Dang my memory.
Oh, CK, what did they ban you for?![]()

I found this on UnWiredView.
It indicates that the Dinara is being tested on Verizon.

Hello Mods/Admins of Android Forums dot com. Would it be possible to build us a Droid HD forum?
Thank you for your consideration.
(ok somebody Tip this post)
Maybe we could ask for an HD forum?
Good to hear the staff here are great. That was the worst experience in all my years on forums. Never seen anything like it.....
Oh well, onward and upward!!!!

Gracias amigoNo. (as in, no, I won't tip this post, not no, I won't request a DROID HD forum) I already tipped your post above that....
As in this one....
And that's why I made the reply I did![]()

Gracias amigo
and yes I actually "thanked" you lol
I highly doubt this phone is 4G capable. Yes, LTE uses sim, but I haven't seen a side-loaded 4G sim card slot in any phone. You don't need to switch it out like you would a normal sim card; that's why it's been by the battery in all 4G phones.
Also, the thinness of the design just screams 3G. Are we to expect that after spending almost a year trying to perfect their 4G chipset to play nice with the processor, Moto all of a sudden created this ultra-thin 4G chip set before the Bionic was even released? Highly doubtful.
I'm starting to think that the US version of the SGSII is not going to be 4G, and Moto will release this ultra-thin 3G Droid HD to compete directly with the SGSII and iPhone 5 on similar price points as those 2 phones, probably at $199.
The Bionic will still be the only dual core 4G phone, most likely at $299.
Just my two cents, but it makes sense if you think about it.
