Droid HTC Eris storage

Greetings..
My Eris has just begun showing a couple of messages on the top toolbar saying :
"Not enough storage space for SM"
Your phone's storage is almost full
and, also
" Low on space"
Phone storage space is getting low
What do I do to correct this ?? None of the apps will work , and mail is not down-loading to the phone...
HELP !!

You probably have too many applications installed. Uninstall the ones that you don't use that often or at all.

Go to menu<settings<applications<manage applications and clear all your caches. Also you probly have too many apps, try to delete the ones you don't really need. The Eris doesn't have a ton of space for apps and you need to be careful how many you install.
