Howdie all..
Got my new/refurb Dinc today. At least it does have an AMOLED screen. I do have a question for all you sports fans in here. I had a fantasy fb app that I never liked and I also had the big NFL Network mobile app that you have to have VCast to use.
I'm not installing either again. Anybody have any good sports apps to recommend?
I am a big fan of pro football, NCAA basketball, Baseball, and a bit of a fan of Pro basketball. Fantasy fb is about over so I'll just wait for next year for a good mobile app.
I also notice something different on this phone and wondered if any of you have this.
I have the standard htc weather/time widget working but I also have a very small font temperature in blue on my status bar? Sure don't remember seeing that before.

I looked around and couldn't see a setting for this. Would be kinda cool.

The little temp sits to the far left of all other notifications on all screens.
My best guess is.... I reinstalled WeatherBug Elite on this new Dinc. I had it on the old phone for a while and then removed it thinking it was the culprit for my battery drain after the last OTA. I'm guessing it's an update to that software while I wasn't using it. One way or another.. it is kinda kewl.

Hmm, nay have to look into it.
 
It is a paid app so I'm not sure it's worthy of it's cost. I like it because it has radar and weather alert notifications you can enable. But... I kinda need those options in my outside business and thus worth it for me.

Off to bid a basement remodel.. see you guy later.

Gotcha. Working outside kinda requires a little more than basic weather info. :cool:

Great news blkbelt! I'd have traded in my Dinc a couple of months ago if not for the fear of the screen change ... and the pain in the butt of setting the phone up again. I'm happy for both of us.

Well good luck if you do. I guess it's fun.. but I'm still having a gas with the stock version.

I noticed your post about 4 hours to return the refurb to your liking. I think that is funny for that is exactly the amount of time I spent lol.
I was watching San Diego destroy San Fran during that stretch.. but if you do any football.. you know that was less than entertaining.

G'day my friends. I expreienced the the moving screens syndrome today on my replacement Dinc. It took a battery pull to halt the shifting screens. It's been fine every since but I called my VZ dude and had him note the problem on my account. I'm not putting up with a turd refurb.

Amen man that crap hapend to me today too... We must have gotten the same batch of phones :(

Are you kidding me? Man that does suck! Mine has been flawless all day since my reboot this morning. I'm not going back to the every other day battery pull. I lived that nightmare for two years with my storm.
