Wow 4 Roms on one phone now that sounds fun
I know what I am doing tonight
The ROMs are independent of each other since they each will have their own system, cache, and data partitions. Really, kind of a good idea since different ROMS can be incompatible in their data. How difficult is it keeping things synchronised between different ROMs?
Or do you usually only use your extra ones to mess about with?
Late start for me. Day has been hectic. Got my tickets for the 12 am showing of GL
Does anyone know if this is a problem all di2's are having, my co-worker also is having this issue. I click to sync only existing contacts and it doesn't work, yet a couple of random ones here and there have popped up.

Hey, I'm gonna copy your post to its own thread in the Incredible 2 section... I'll post a link here

Find your thread ok lion?
So far, so good with the MultiRoms. I haven't noticed any significant problems running a Rom from the emmc. One of the side benefits of the MultiRom, is that I can make my partitions any size I want. That means I can avoid the dreaded low space notification that I'm always flirting with because I upped the datadata partition to 200MB for the extra ROMS. Now to see if I can apply the same principal to the phone rom.
I hope to one day understand half of what you just said
MultiRom gives me the ability to have up to 5 different ROMs (or operating systems) on my phone at once, and boot to whichever one I wish without having to go through the process of making a backup of the currently running one and restoring the backup of the new one.I hope to one day understand half of what you just said

HTC, in desigining the Incredible limited the space available for application data storage (the datadata partition, which is not visible to the user unless they are rooted). When this partition fills up, the phone will give a low space notification. More information on this can be found in this thread:

Technically you are correct, though there are 2 partitions for data: /data and what I call datadata. datadata is mounted as the data directory in the /data directory (confused yet?)/Data not datadata
/dev/block/mmcblk0p1 /data ext3 rw,nosuid,noatime,nodiratime,errors=continue,data=writeback 0 0
/dev/block/mtdblock6 /data/data yaffs2 rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime 0 0
