you probably left it in that owl you were sporting last couple days, lol

I couldn't sleep last night and almost left and caught midnight showing, lol. Think I'm going tonight and saying damn the HUGE crowds
I was actually suprised at the lacluster turn out at my local theater. Besides myself, there were only maybe a dozen others. They ended up showing the 2D version at the same time afterall because too many people requested it. That showing was also poorly attended (maybe 3 dozen). Granted this theater generally has smaller attendance (it is hidden behind a strip mall and has no direct access to the major streets), but I still expecter a greater turn out.

^^ wow! wish I had a theater like that by me. From what I'm told the theater was PACKED here....and that was for both the 2D and 3D.

Not TOO surprised for a midnight showing

They closed all the smaller 'showcase' theaters in my area and now all we have is a big AMC and now a Rave. they are ALWAYS packed, especially on a friday night

It is actually nice, the theater is literally right across the street from my place. The only time I've really seen it packed is for the Harry Potter movies. To top it off, prices are the lowest in town. Matinee prices are $4.00, regular adult is $6.50 and 3D showings are $8.50 (Got to charge for the glasses noone returns).

We just have the AMC - 3 within 15 or 20 miles actually and they're always packed for midnight showings like that. They're usually packed regardless of time really. Except for Sunday mornings (when it's also 1/2 price!)

I'm moving west - maybe then I'd see more movies. :D

This one really isn't that small, it is a 12 screen venue, though each is maybe 2/3 the size of your AMC's.

Those are GREAT prices!! OMG
Good movie, they got the hard part out of the way, now they can really do well with a sequel...

Thats it.... Or are you still in shock?....:p

Not a chance. I will admit to loving sixties/seventies rock (my school days) I just say no to country, rap, and Barry. Alice was a bit off center but I liked his stuff.
He put on a great stage show lol.
