Luckily her battery just up and died. A replacement was the fix. I've never seen one just die before. They usually give you some warning by not holding a charge for long or something.. Oh well. My Dinc is safe :)
 
Hey all! Well, my beloved Incredible is headed to a well deserved retirement. I decided to pull the trigger and get the Rezound - should arrive on Friday. Debated on waiting for the 4G Incredible, but when the price droped on the Rezound, I couldn't pass it up.

I only wish I had the time these days to play with the Rezound like I did when I got my Incredible. There are some customizations that I made (multiboot and increasing the /data/data partition size to 900MB are a couple) that I will miss.

Cool deal. I think you'll really like it. So far, I haven't had any problems with the low memory, like I had on the incredible. My son is starting to see it on his thunderbolt though. Of course, he has tons more apps installed than I do. I do have a lot, but not nearly as many.

Whats up skorp!? I'm still loving my rezound here. no data/data partition troubles here now:)

yea htc has all but taken care of that issue, plus you can monitor the data partition in storage menu now.

Plus I am only maintaining around 100 apps now. I had anywhere from 200 to up to 400 installed on Inc at one time. Thanking God i dont have to mess with 'low on space' issues anymore. Hell i haven't even moved any apps to sd card

I work a t booth there with a buddy of mine, and we only got a hotel room this year, no condo. But we sure as hell can party in the gaslamp!

Skorp, I'm thinking about jumping on that 50 deal for teh rezound, just gotta talk the wife into it ;)

I'm not worried about the low space issue so much, I don't need to keep all the stuff I crammed into the application data storage partition (every text and email I've received since I activated the phone :eek:) but it was nice to be able to. My lament is that I don't have the free time anymore to do that kind of thing.

Goat! It's been a long time! Glad to see you!

It was an easy sell here - $50 for the Rezound or $200+ for the 4g Inc. Not that I needed a new phone, my little Incredible is still running like a champ. The ONLY problem I have is that the usb connector is a little worn (as an electronics repair technician, this is something I can easily fix, but it hasn't really caused any problems so far). She even paid for the Rezound with her "mad money" ;):D
 
That's a fact. Great to see everybody. I think you will love the Rezound Skorp.. great phone. The rumor mill is grinding that ICS is on the near horizon as well.
It's so cheap now I'm thinking about buying another one to use as a battery charger lol. No kidding.. great choice.. have fun.
 
I'll be ordering my rezound in a day or two, looks like most of us old school dinc owners are sticking with HTC. Its good to see all the old faces again ;)

When I order my ReZound I need to switch to an 4G data plan, am I grandfathered into an unlimited plan? And what plans did you guys opt for?
