I went from the Dinc to a 4G phone and my unlimited changed over without a problem.

Whatever you do, if you are ordering onlin the 29.99 plan is preselected, do not change that, I made the mistake (because of the wording making it look like the plan wasn't compatible) and now I am limited to 4GB

What days are you going to be at the Con, Nick? We will definitely be hanging out when youre there.
Gonna fly out Friday earlier as possible and stay till saturday. Really am hoping to get there earlier enough friday to put a volunteer shift in so that i can get in free. Sat is no problem, they want you to put in a 3 hour shift then I get the rest of the day to see everything.
How late is it open? Flying from this half of the country I don't think I will get in till late afternoon at best. Wish I could come thursday night though

happy Easter all! Got my new phone on Friday. Just about got it all set up, too many apps to reinstall and set up. Too bad I can't use Titanium to resore (Haven't rooted YET 
, besides I've had problems migrating apps from Froyo based ROMs to GB+).
I'm loving the phone so far, though there are some things that will take some getting used to. The buttons are in all the wrong places, I'm always pushing the wrong place to turn it on (I really miss my trackball wake).
Even better, I got a call this morning from Verizon regarding my data plan - I had left some feedback on the website's order process telling them what I thought of the deceptive wording when it came to choosing the data plan, not expecting anything to come of it. The rep, Linsey, was great and was able to put me back on the unlimited plan
. They just moved back up in my estimation.

Congrats Skorp!! I hope you love it. The buttons are easier found as time passes. It took me about a week to be on auto button lol. Glad to hear they honored your unlimited. That's the way it should be. The phone is great... it will take a couple of years for it to prove it's as good as a Dinc.

. I want to give it a good shakedown on stock so I have a baseline before I start messing with it. Who knows, we may have s-off by then.The thing is, I rarely used the power button on the Dinc, usually only when I was flashing ROMs.
As for the unlimited - it's a good thng - so far 1 day into the billing cycle and I can tell I'd be in trouble rather quickly, even with 4GB. Never worried about data usage before, but looking at my last 3 months, I only averaged 1.3GB/month. Maybe it's just that I've been playing more than usual, but at the rate I was eating data yesterday, I'd reach the limit within 2 weeks
.I have noticed that the Rezound runs hotter than the Incredible - at idle it's not noticeable, but under heavy use, there is a definite difference. It may be too early to tell, but signal reception seems better on the Rezound, perhaps due to the way the antennas are built into the back cover.

It was late in the evening on the 3rd - 2 day fedex shipped on the 4th and arrived mid day on the 6th. I'd guess you should get it by tomorrow evening at the latest.

LOL - It was terrible waiting for my Dinc to arrive, I kept checking the FedEx tracking number every 15 minutes or so. Basically did the same thing for the Rezound.

It was 4 weeks wait for me. Once I got the shipping confirmation, I was all over FedEx.I ordered mine when they were 6 weeks out. Poor fedex delivery people were probably feeling like target practice by the time the phone started shipping on a normal time schedule. I remember this pic being used a lot!

I remember waiting for my DInc, checking on the thread and seeing that people got it early. Man I was jealous, I didn't get mine til the actual release day, the 29th I think. I just need to make sure that someone is home to accept the package.
The Incredible wait. I would hate to live that again but... it's fun looking back at that misery and I cherish the friends made in that thread!!!
As for the heat of the Rezound. The only time I feel mine getting darn warm is during navigation. Perusing the net warms it up some but nothing like a long nav.
