Sorry about the job loss BB. Not working is no fun... at least for me. I love work and regularly put in 12+ hours a day on a seven day schedule. I just got home and I'll go back to work here in just a few minutes until it's dark. I'm self employed so there is no severance or unemployment. When I fall short of work... I'm desperate. I did take a vacation once... it was back in 1974 lol. Ten days.. I remember it well.

I hope you find work.. when you are ready... and enjoy your time off.

Sounds like a typical trip for sure. I hope nobody was hurt with the wrecked jet ski. My granddaughters' best friend spent three days in the hospital with a crushed leg and concussion last week from a jet ski accident.

everyone is fine, except for the fact that dude demanded 1400 bucks!!

i know right:(

only reason we were even there that day was because we got bumped off our flight home. so on top of that i had to spring for an extra night at the resort.... spend WAY to much money... i'm paying for it now

it really was an awesome trip though. when i get home i'll post couple pics

My best friend is having a b-day party out in the county in a couple of weeks. There is some power but it's limited and I am in charge of some vintage tunes for the affair.
I went and bought a new toy :) It's a stand alone, rechargeable, BT speaker by Bose. I'm just pretty dang impressed with the sound out of this thing. I'm a tune hog and have quite a library on my phone from our days when we lived together and chased women etc. I made a play list a bit short of 1,300 tunes to stream to the Bose. Works great!

Sounds cool. Might have to check it out.

Sounds like a fun toy!! I'm sure the party will be tons of fun too.

I thought it was way over priced... but what isn't these days. I looked at the cheaper models... did some r&d on the net... decided I might as well get something decent. It will see work on my own patio so I want it to last and sound decent.

Sounds like a fun toy!! I'm sure the party will be tons of fun too.

Oh it will be. This guy is like the brother I never had. We became best of buddies in the first grade... we both turn sixty this year. It's a surprise party.. I owe him. He pulled the same crap on me when I turned 50.

Hey y'all! Sounds like everyone has been busy! Sorry about the job BB. Any luck finding a new one? Work royally sucks here, but I'll be done this week and will be heading to Seattle for a few days and then will be spending the rest of my summer playing with my kids! This is the first summer I haven't taught summer school in 9 years and possibly the first summer where I haven't worked since I was in junior high! I have tons of trainings this summer and really will only have about four weeks off if I'm lucky with all the changes at work. Sounds like you had a fun trip, NA. Well, except for the jet ski and other stuff. What a sucky way to end a trip. Those darn contracts always get you. We've had a few seriously minor bumps on rental cars that have cost us a lot of money and higher insurance premiums. The backing into a snow-covered fire hydrant was the most frustrating, but was nowhere near what you had to pay for the jet ski.

So.... I was wondering if you are all enjoying rocking your Rezounds and Nexuses (or is the plural Nexi? LOL!). It's time to give the old Dinc a rest. I still love it, but I don't want to lose my unlimited data after the fiasco with an email that ended up using 28 GB of data over the course of a few weeks. It would've been one huge bill had I been on a 2 GB plan. Tell me why you still love your phone! I could preorder the SG3, but it seems way too huge for my petite hands and I'm not convinced that it will allow me to keep my unlimited data if it's not activated by the 28th. It does seem awesome though and the $200 would have to come out of my vacation budget. I've been holding out for the Incredible 4G, but I'm losing faith that it will come in time. Nexus is now $150 and Rezound is $79. My upgrade date is June 29, so it's doubtful I'll get my last $50 upgrade unless they give that to me early. Both phones still seem way too big. I've been tempted to just get the Incredible 2 for free at Best Buy and hopefully they'll let me exchange it if the Inc4G comes out in time. I just don't know if that would work though. Thoughts???

Decisions, decisions. I swear I spend more time trying to figure out what is the next phone for me. Getting the Inc was easy. There was no comparison and I had time on my hands so I could wait until it was affordable for me. I wasn't planning to upgrade until closer to August or September, but Big Red threw a kink in my plans with the data change.

What a fun party! It's awesome that you have had a friend for that many years!

Thanks. I'm actually going to take the summer off. It's the first time since I turned 16 that I'll have one off and I'm looking forward to it. Have lots of stuff planned and now I don't have to worry about taking time off.

I haven't looked at any of the new phones so I can't say I have an opinion for you. I loved my Dinc and would probably still be using it if the Nexus hadn't come out.
