Last phone to do that was an Evo 4G.
I've owned both.
Today my addiction caused me to note that my current HTC is built even tougher.

They shared that story on Elevate and I had to argue with a fellow that SWORE it was an Incredible that stopped the bullet. The bootleg article he posted said the same. But I too remember that story... cira summer 2010 I believe??

It first broke that it was an Evo, later people socialized it as an Incredible, thanks to BGR (friends don't let friends read Boy Genius). A number of blogs updated with the correct information.
Somewhere, there are photos of the whole phone, puts the question to rest.
